I was there in the current Corona times. Unfortunately the inn was closed. But I suspect it is a nice inn where you can strengthen yourself after hiking. It is really quiet in the middle of the forest.

My wife and I think the food is very good, we are vegetarians and there is something for us too. Once I only took fried potatoes, which were unbelievably tasty and wonderfully seasoned, which we have never seen in any other restaurant. The tomato sauce is also incredibly flavorful. You can tell that the food is prepared with love and that the cook has a lot of knowledge and tastes good. Some superficial people would say that it is a bit canteen-like or that there is not enough choice, but the quality of the dishes and the friendliness of everyone are paramount and that is the most important thing. You feel very comfortable. A place where we will stop off more often. We are happy when we can support family businesses.

Very nice stop for the hungry and / or thirsty hiker. Also recommended with dog or child.

A nice place for a good snack, even if it is very busy on Sundays! A little further is the old forester's house, which is supposed to be renovated since 2008 but apparently nothing is happening !! It's a shame .... it's still worth a look ...

Cracking up the mountain is worth it. Very tasty food. Self service. Friendly staff. One can sitting inside and outside.

A very nice place to stay. Was here the second time today. Last time it rained heavily. Today was a perfect day in terms of weather. The choice is quite diverse. From spaghetti Bolognese to potato soup with Viennese to various cakes, everything is offered to the hungry hiker. The prices are very fair. We'll be back.

Great place, there is self-service and the food is wonderful, nice that there are still places like this where hikers and cyclists can strengthen themselves in beautiful nature!

Nice place. Unfortunately it was closed on Monday. Still worth seeing. A visit is definitely worth it. We'll be back when the restaurant is open.

It feels like you have been entertained there for centuries - it is impossible to imagine life without it. As a starting point before larger tours or on the way back from somewhere or directly as a destination for a small tour - the Plessenburg is a real INSTITUTION.

There are certainly nicer inns, but enough for hikers. Food went relatively quickly, maybe a little small portions, the secluded location now determines the price. Will come back sometime anyway

Too bad. Despite Corona requirements, it can be designed better. At least the jelly and the fried potatoes were homemade. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes were not seasoned. The remoulade was also homemade but unfortunately did not meet my taste (too sour). On the whole, listless staff and mass processing. An unpleasant smell of old frit fat in the dining room.

We hiked to this restaurant for lunch. We didn't like the food at all. Our family tried almost everything from the menu - soup, fish, pasta. The only good dish was the milky rice. Everythign else way below standards. I don't recommend eating there.
